For tenants in the Kaiserslautern Military Community
Looking for a home near Ramstein or Landstuhl?
Tell us what you need. When a landlord gives us a matching property, you hear about it before it goes online. Free of charge for you — in Germany the party who commissions the agent pays the agent, and that is the landlord.
Why register instead of refreshing the listing portals
Most homes around Ramstein are let quickly, often to the first suitable applicant. By the time a listing appears on a portal, several families have usually seen it already. We work the other way round: when an owner hands us a property, we look at who is already waiting.
What we do and what we do not do
- We represent landlords. That is who pays us, and we say so openly.
- Registering your search costs you nothing, now or later.
- We do not charge tenants a fee, a deposit or an “application fee”. Anyone who does is breaking German law.
- We only contact you about properties that fit what you tell us below.
What is worth knowing before you sign anything
- The deposit may not exceed three months’ rent excluding utilities, and it must be held separately from the landlord’s own money.
- Utilities are usually paid monthly in advance and settled once a year. A refund or an additional payment at the end is normal, not a mistake.
- A handover protocol with photographs protects you as much as the landlord. Insist on one, and keep your copy.
- A posting or transfer is not an automatic right to terminate under German law. If you need that flexibility, it has to be written into the contract.

Are you an owner instead?
If you own a property here and want it let, our German pages explain how we work: Haus vermieten.
